Tethering with OS 10.4

I've been looking everywhere for modem scripts for Windows Mobile CDMA.
I can find it for GSM, but not for Verizon. How the hell am I going to
tether this to my mac? I don't have windows and the luxury of hacking
the phone at this time.

Can someone give me some recourse?

Thanks

Did you try bluetooth tethering yet? I guess i would be nice if I tried to tether to my macbook. Will report back...

You can always tether via WiFi:

OK try this out.. I just did and it works fine!! Bluetooth Tethering that is.....

Bluetooth PAN functionality was added in 10.4.9.

Assuming your phone has been paired with your computer, do the following:

1) Make sure the connection is running on your phone (launch Explorer and make sure you can browse)

2) In Programs, launch "Internet Sharing"

3) Under "PC Connection" select "Bluetooth PAN" and under "Network Connection" select "Sprint PCS", then click "Connect"

4) On your Mac, under the Bluetooth menu (on the right hand side of the menu bar), select "Join Network" in the sub-menu with the Bluetooth name of your phone.

I haven't tried the other one yet, but it also seems to be very promising!!

I'm on Verizon - this phone does not even show up in the modem scripts,
there nothing to install. :(

Well, I didn't use no modem scripts.... I just created a bluetooth connection to my phone. Then I just opened IE on 6800 and made the internet connect and then went to internet sharing.. I guess for Network Connection try the other option with your Data connection already running and see what happens.... Now on the Mac just click on the bluetooth icon, go down to your 6800 and click on Connect to Network.....

Oh yea I am currently using the tethering bluetooth with my Mac and 6800 right now! Not to bad I must indeed say!

If all else fails try the other method.. I think it will work fine... I'll try it out to!!!

Ok update I am using the other method now and its even better than the bluetooth so far! I think this will work better for you! Good luck man! Go Mac with Parallels XP!!

This is what I am getting... woooshhhh

Mechanized try this:

I just simply use WiFiRouter and use this connection on the Mac. Nothing to download on the Mac, and it "Just Works", like a Mac should. Just do a search for WiFiRouter. Don't mess around with Bluetooth, or USB Modem, or modem scripts etc.

Im sorry if i am not clear on what you are doing. The mogul has WiFi, you can make your Mac share internet every easily. You just go to system prefs/sharing/click on internet sharing it will turn it on and you can search the network from your mogul via wifi
