activate new sprint mogul after hours????
 

I just got home with a brand new Mogul and am ready to have some new ROM fun. When I call Sprint tells me they are closed. WTF!!! I don't see anything in my online account about activating a new phone online maybe because I have been with Sprint since 1996 for some crazy reason. Anyway, is there a way for me to activate tonight or do I have to wait until tomorrow? Thanks.

fyi, I am swapping ESN from a Touch to the Mogul not activating new service. Thanks.

That sucks. Hate it when the bubble gets busted.
Go ahead and use this time to read up on the install and download all that you need for the new rom tomorrow So you will be all organized and ready to go when they open in the AM. It will go twice as fast for ya.
Or you could be lazy grab some chips and watch worthless tv and struggle in the Am with the new rom or worse yet brick that brand new mogul :).

is it ok to go ahead and upgrade rom before activating service so I can at least play with gps etc? This is my first mogul. I have read every post in the entire new rom thread!!!

once again...sorry to burst that bubble, but the Mogul doesn't have GPS capabilities yet!! :-(

Are you serious?? I hope you are joking.. if you are indeed serious, you really need to read up on the new rom before you post what you just posted... :-)

OMG!! the whole reason I got the mogul was to play with the new ROM!!! I have been waiting for rev A plus GPS. read up on the new "test" rom Jloden78. it's a big part of why there are like 200 people currently active reading this forum!! Back to my original question, is there any problem with me flashing the new ROM prior to doing my ESN swap with Sprint from my current touch to the Mogul? Thanks.

You could but I think you should do some research here first, then get your Msl and other info needed off the phone after you change esn in the am just in case. Then flash. That new rom has really change around settings in epst for some people. You will be ok either way-just trying to make it easier for ya Goodluck

yeah, it's killing me but I think I'll wait. when did sprint limit its call in hours? maybe they laid off the deep night shift?

They been doing it for a while. But, for business customers there was a number you could have called to get someone, but I think they did away with it now... f'rs....
