Step by step guide for installing the new GPS rom.
 

can someone guide me to the right page? ive looked and i cannot match what i need. i try to run the rom upgrade but it goes to a command screen for a split sec, then closes.

Wow I thought I was the only one with this problem. It tries to run in command prompt. This is far from my first time flashing a device first time ive encountered this.

NOTE: After the update some are experiencing loss of phone functions (dial in-out). To recover from this, before updating, make sure you record your MDN and MSID. First go to your dialer and dial ##MSL# (where MSL is your unique MSL code for your phone). The MSL unlock code is used for programming your phone yourself, and is unique for every phone. You can retrieve the MSL for your phone by using the GetSPC application. It's essentially a keygen that calculates what the MSL should be from the hexadecimal ESN (case-sensitive). You can get your hexadecimal ESN from several places including the back of your device if you remove the battery. You can download GetSPC from HERE. Otherwise you can call Sprint technical support, tell them you're a developer, and you need the MSL number for your phone. The MDN should be your phone number. Finally, go to your dialer again, and dial ##3282#, your MSL is the unlock code, then make sure you record the settings there. The important things are your username and AAA password (HA password should be 'secret').

I'm sorry. No offense here but you shouldn't be flashing this rom if you can't figure out how to install it yourself.

im just tryin to figure out if we install ALL 4 mirrors??? or just one?

Dude! No offense, but you keep posting problems all over, and you don't know what a mirror is (4 mirrors, 4 separate copies of the same file). You shouldn't be trying to install this rom. :-/

well aparently my computer is seeing it as zipped twice.

when you initially unzip the exe file open that exe file in winzip and extract it again. works perfectly now. its like a zip file was zipped.

see, thats what I thought a mirror was but wasnt 100% sure but I got it all down now. I just had to look more into it is all.
