Switching phones(ESNs) without calling Sprint?

Hey everyone. I am a longtime PPCGeeks lurker and am about to experiment with a new never never used Mogul that I just bought to try the GPS/RevA rom. I am currently using a Sprint Touch only a little over a month old. Is it possible to do an ESN swap and provision the mogul without calling Sprint? Every time I do this they hassle me about my old grandfathered Vision plan and try to increase my monthly fee. Sometimes I have to call several times. I didn't know if I write down all my info from my Touch if that would allow me to switch without calling Sprint? This forum is incredible, keep up the great work and I will try to contribute if I can.
