Any 3.16.651.0 improvements? Worsen?

Are there any ups besides the gps and rev a and downs in the 3.16.651.0 rom?

I am unable to test bluetooth because I have no bluetooth devices that aern't broken.

I do notice a major con, the phone takes nearly one minute to find the carrier. With roaming enabled, it will not connect at all.

I noticed the new rom comes with x-button. I know some people prefer something else, but I have had x button installed and find it does exactly what I need. The version on the phone is a newer one than I had as well, which gives more functionality than I had. The about screen says "HTC Task Manager 2.0 build 31261". (is this a later version of X-Button or a differnt HTC program? In any event,I like it.)

Some people have issues with HTC X button 2.0 on their phone, so it depends really.

As Metallica once said... and Nothing else matters ... when GPS works!

I use a Slingbox. With the new ROM the video is streaming almost as if I'm on the computer hard-wired to the same router. The download speed is still showing 200kbs-250kbs, but the fps have gone from an average of 9-14 on the old rom to the upper 20s with the new. The video is very smooth and no audio dropouts.

How can you expect Man to talk about the upgrade and exclude GPS (ups besides the gps)? That's not right! Walking outside in the freezing cold, running GPSInfo and viewing the numbers, and the pretty, blue colors of the locked-on satellites is a thrill few women in the world will every experience. Please! Don't ask me to exclude GPS. I'm not sure I can right now.

Ok, so I discovered my 1st problem with the new ROM. My Bluetooth doesn't work, at all. Now, I'm gonna mess around a little just to make sure it isn't any tweaks or software on my end that caused bluetooth not to work at all, but what solutions are there in order to make bluetooth work on this ROM? Thanks.

I've had the issue where it takes longer to connect to a tower for a signal and also the phone has locked up on me a few times. I have very little software installed compared to the way I had my 2.09 set up so I'm not sure if it's a software conflict or the ROM.

The main problem I am having is with email. The only time I get my yahoo email on my phone is when it is connected to activesync.

Anybody else having this problem?

Gmail IMAP HTML e-mail is now working on this rom

MS Voice Command Confirmation is also working with this rom

At least on my phone

According to some other threads, Google fixed Gmail, so that should be working on any ROM.

This is the first I've seen about MSVC confirmation now working. Are you absolutely sure it's working? You can say "call Mary Jones at home", it comes back with "call Mary Jones at home?", you say "yes", and it actually dials? This has been my biggest frustration since coming from a PPC-6700 to a PPC-6800, even bigger than GPS and Rev-A.
