We have to load a program to even be able to send MMS. I dont know if its the same program that VZ users get or not but you could try loading that maybe. I am sure some smart person on here would be able to say if it works or not. It may need to be configured for VZ or something. I dont think the threaded sms will handle mms but I might be wrong. I dont use it.

That's the thing though, the software comes pre-installed on the VZ version of the phone. It's called MMS Composer v3.0.24.10c by ArcSoft. It should work, and did work once for the test picture the tech sent me while I was at the store, but since then it hasn't. I personally think it's a combination of problems with the network and the way the software is configured on the phone. It just makes me mad because I'm paying to use the SMS and MMS and I cant send or recieve my MMS messages!

I can imagine. At least if it does work you can get MMS messages on your phone. Us sprint mogul users have to settle for a sms that sends us to a website to look at our mms messages.

I figured it out! It's not in the network! I installed the ThreadedSMS software from the Palm phones, and I can get picture messages now! So, that software I described above, MMS Composer v3.0.24.10c by ArcSoft, must be the culprit! I now have no problems downloading messages or viewing them. Well, after having the phone almost 2 months and not being able to figure it out, I can take it to Verizon and tell them I figured it out!

It's a relief really...

Thanks for all the help though, I'd consider this case closed lol

thats wierd.thats what it looks like when a verizon pic mail comes in on my sprint phone.

I originally though that was the problem. Maybe it was just the MMS messages coming from an outside network. However, I check with some friends and it turned out that all of the MMS messages I got were from people that have Verizon as well.

Im hoping Verizon will fix this with the next ROM update.
