Colonels ROMS?
 

Anyone know why the Colonels new ROm for the XV6800 had a password on it?

He password protects any ROM not meant for general usage. In other words, they are for a select few who are testing it for him.

How does one become one of the "select Few"? Does it take a paypal donation of a certain size?

Those roms are loaded. Much so till you cant make a call or send a text with out horrible lag and a soft reset

Maybe you're refering to the beta rom that is password protected, but if you're refering to colonel's roms in general, I would have to completely disagree. I am running the 12-28 rom, and on startup I have 22mb ram free, plenty to do anything I want, and for sure no unusual lag with simple things like calls and texts. Maybe you're running too many things at the same time (use task manager).

I appreciate that colonel includes so many goodies with his rom, making it a much more enjoyable experience to use the titan without having to track down all the utilities and features for myself. Thank you very much colonel, I really like the full featured rom, and I will soon try the rev a/gps rom of yours, but really I don't need to because I'm happy with my BT gps receiver and there's no evdo in my area.

im just wondering if anyone here knows if his 1-31 release is updated to WM 6.1 or still 6.0?
