text notifacation problem
 

has anyone figured out the text notifacation problem. like when i wake up i turn the phone off and back on and phone works good until about 12 text messages. after that i have to turn the phone off and on again to hear my text notifacation or else it just will not notify me at all. then i look at my screen and i have like 10 texts. any solutions other than stop texting so much

I've never had that problem, and I usually get about 80 texts a day. Maybe it's a problem with other apps you've installed.

damn. i have a ringer i downloaded for the text messages. maybe that could be it

This happens to me as well, my notifications randomly stop, then I have to soft reset.
I have notify and play the default sound on, and it will stop notifying me after around 15 text messages.

edit: nevermind, I wasn't using the default thing, I was using windowschimes.mp3 from my computer's /windows thing.

I txt ALOT during the day and never ran into this problem.
Liek somebody said before maybe it's an app or could be the ringtone.
Outside of those two things, I don't have a better answer.

I just changed my texttone to a the "windowschimes" but changed it to a .wma and put it in the /windows folder... so far no messups.

I've got a 10 second clip of the Knightrider theme as my ringtone for txt notifications, in mp3 format. Never had problems.

wow. you're amazing haha. thats a lot of texts.

as for the problem, I've witnessed this. the only thing i can think of is the length of the clip?
