HTC ppc6800 with Bell

Hey, I recently just got the 6800 with bell, however I just recieved my first bill and its charging me over 140$ worth of hi speed time. The thing is, I only use the internet in a Hotspot, or at home, I never browse outside of the wifi areas. The only thing that my phone does while in a non hotspot is refresh the email every 30 mins. Am I getting charged for using my internet while I'm in a hot spot?

Thanks.

Ps, I used the search function becuase I thought I had seen something like this before...

I got a 6800 with Bell also, but that's besides the point. A phones wifi has nothing to do with the carrier charges. You are probably getting charged because the phone is using data every 30 minutes to check your email, and Bell's data charges are ridiculous.

I did notice on my bill that i had a 33$ high speed charge.. WTF thats definately not email checking..

That has to be Data usage, they have no way of charging you for wifi usage. Your email checking is probably using cellular data not wifi.
