Today screen issues
 

I have searched for over an hour and now I am humbly asking for help....

I want to remove the date from above the HTC Home plug in and I want to remove the small tray icon for active sync but cannot find the procedures using search...

Well I searched the registry for 'date', and didnt find anything about 'date' in any 'today' keys.

Help appreciated!

Start>Settings>Today>Items and uncheck the "Date" box?

Nah I tried that its the date thats right next to the carrier nam ... oh I'll post a pic.........

Ok th items I want gone are circled in yellow

I have that date on mine but not the top one. I turned that one off the way bakntyme said and then left the on on the HTC home screen there so I wouldn't have 2 dates.

I want the one on the taskbar but not the one on the screen... and i want to get rid of that comm manager usb icon for active sync... someone please, I've searched endlessly

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the date itsall_cooool has circled to show up as Tuesday, January 15 or Tuesday Jan.15

I know i can add the date from the today section and it shows up the way i want it but i dont want the dates displaying twice
