I ordered up my XV6800 yesterday and should have it Thursday. I am jazzed about all of the great things that can be done with this phone. I have been a professional business type user for many years and relied heavily on my BB - but since I travel so much I started looking at some of my other colleagues phones. The capitulating moment was when he showed me the Slingbox on this. I have been using Slingbox for a year or so with my laptop on the road - usually tethered to my BB. I really dig the fact that I can do this on my soon to be new XV6800.

MobiTV is a monthly paid service. I believe it's $10/month and channels vary depending on service provider. Google MobiTV and find the link to their website for more info.

If you're looking for something "free" monthly, i suggest using a slingbox. There is a 1 time investment, but you can watch anything you want, instead of the 15 (or less) channels you'd get with MobiTV. It's nice to pick what you wanna watch and not have to watch whatever those channels put on. :)

It's worth the investment. Trust me. :)

Slingbox Won't Dissappoint U....

I've been using Orb to watch the movies and shows on my home fileserver. Also lets me listen to music and stream directly from the webcams in my house ;)
