Question about upgrading ROM
 

Hey guys
Would I be able to successfully restore a backup from SPB backup if I have upgraded the ROM to a new version, say 2.17?
I mean it won't change the rom but will all the settings, programs, etc be successfully restored?

It is not recommended to to a restore(full) after a ROM upgrade. It will restore all programs and settings, but it also writes all the reg keys and all the files from the old ROM back over the new ROM. It may work, then again it may introduce new problems.
There is even a warning about it when you are doing a backup.
