or you can use the android sdk and build it for the qualcomm processor
just dont know how hard it would be. i have only skimmed the sdk briefly

The Mogul's processor IS an ARM processor as far as I'm aware. I'm pretty sure all the PPC processors are these days. I know when I download any software for it and I'm asked which version, I choose the ARM version.

i think that's the case- the specs for the chip in the 6800 say it has an arm11 cpu for the pda and an arm9 cpu for the phone.

years ago there were 2 other flavors- i think dragonball or something and another one that started with s, maybe sh, or something. i forget...

Yeah, the mogul processor is ARM.

While it's awesome to think about, don't hold your breath.

Yes, they have android booting on real hardware.

However, it basically can't do anything. It can't use the touch screen, bluetooth, or phone (so far), so basically it won't do anything you want it to do.

While hackers are dutifully working on it, I'm afraid we won't see anywhere near-perfect compatibility unless HTC steps up and provides drivers for their devices. Until then we can only guess and hope.

I'm sure we'll see drastic improvements once some Android phones are actually released to the market, since most of them are being manufactured by HTC. At that point I'd rather just buy one, though.

Dragonball processors were used in Palm OS based devices. The "flavors" of PPC processors were SH3/4, X86, and MIPS.

What PPC had an X86 processor?
