50% off mogul shieldzone screen protector

heads up!..pulled from another forum-credit goes to original poster.

"InvisibleSHIELD is a skin that can protect: cameras, phones, iPods, laptops, watches, and other products that tend to get scratched easily.

Free shipping on almost all of their products!

You have to go through this link to get 50% off automatically (there's no code):
============================
http://www.zagg.com/showspecial
============================

states that the link is good for a 50% discount off all InvisibleSHIELD products for a period ending one week after the CES show closes.

It's my understanding that CES ends on 1/10/08, so this deal should last until roughly 1/17/08."

These look pretty cool... i wonder how "invisible" it is and it has it for the whole phone as well...

silentcharlie 01-09-2008 07:33 PM

That bites. I just bought two of them, one for the HTC and the other for my BB on the fourth of January.

If I get them soon, I'll let you all know what I think.

i have the full body skin. it just for the screen, top(not including buttons), and sides. it doesn't cover the back because of the ridges. works very well.

Frankiedog 01-09-2008 08:19 PM

They look very good, but are a little "tacky" feeling to some, but I like the resistance on the stylus.

eehrhard 01-09-2008 08:41 PM

they should give you the sale price. that or ask for a refund and reorder. their customer service is pretty good. i love the protectors. i have them on everything. the psp one rocks. i only have the screen for my mogul and its great it fits absolutly perfect, easy to install and they replace it if anything happens to it. their shipping is kinda slow but thats my only gripe.

Catman51 01-09-2008 09:37 PM

That sight must be jammed, I got there, then it wouldn't load into shopping cart, got page cannot be opened. Will try later.
Thanks for the info.

I just ordered the two piece kit for my PPC-6800. $9.98 with free shipping. Sweet! :headbang:

tracerit 01-10-2008 01:53 AM

how does the phone feel after you put the shield on? I'm thinking it's going to give me more grip? I think I'm going to get the screen protector anyways since the one that came with the phone has already had a scratch from my finger nail.

thundrbird1 01-10-2008 01:58 AM

Is the Front and Side also include the screen? There is a seperate order for screen.

Good question! There's not much, if any, specific descriptions for either of the items. I hope someone in the know will pop in here soon, so I can adjust my order, if needed.

phatstud 01-10-2008 05:36 AM

I'm interested in the same answer as above.
Thanks.

MillerTyme 01-10-2008 11:25 AM

i believe the front and side does include a screen, i ordered one so i dont know for sure, but that is my understanding from the previous thread about these on here (search invisible)

eehrhard 01-10-2008 11:48 AM

you can order just the screen or you can order front cover which is the the screen and the sides. You definitely do not need to order both.

Whew, thanks for confirming! :)

laynpipeallday 01-12-2008 01:46 PM

I bought one of these screen protectors and after i installed this touchscreen wouldnt work on my mogul with stylus or my finger??????????

eehrhard 01-14-2008 11:13 AM

That is kinda strange. I have had 5 different moguls and probably 6 shieldzone protectors in the past year and never had any problems like that.

ejbleendreeble 01-14-2008 11:37 AM

Bummer -- just bought mine. I agree about the surface feeling tacky to the stylus, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. One hint: I took a chance and really wetted the screen side of the protector when installing it. This enabled me to slide it around to locate it, instead of constantly peeling it off and redoing it .... YMMV. Oh, and banish any cats at least a mile away -- their fine hairs will appear under the protector once it dries .... :^(

Don't you worry about the water getting inside the device?

Synned 01-14-2008 03:12 PM

I think if you accidentally get it wedged in between the screen and casing...you wont get any response...

eehrhard 01-14-2008 06:24 PM

it tells you to spray both sides of the shield as well as your fingers to keep from getting prints on it. I kinda worried about the amount of fluid that you squeegee out but it doesnt seem to bother the phone.

bdubya 01-14-2008 08:56 PM

Thanks for the heads up. The special is still going as of today.

jhonny11 01-17-2008 01:37 PM

And today as I just ordered one. Thank you :)

Scoob 01-17-2008 08:50 PM

Looks like the sale is on today and I put in an order for the screen protector.

bassett 01-19-2008 12:22 AM

My order was canceled. Here's the e-mail I received:

"Thank you for your recent order from ZAGG Inc, home of the
invisibleSHIELD. We regret to inform you that due to a system error,
your particular order was not processed successfully. We did, however,
receive your PayPal payment.

We realize that you are receiving this email a few days after placing
your order and we wish to apologize for the delay in notifying you. As
soon as we learned of the situation relating to your purchase, we took
immediate action to locate the source of the problem and made the
necessary changes to ensure this does not happen in the future.

Due to the circumstances, unfortunately, we will be issuing you a full
refund and ask that you place a new order at your convenience. Your
refund will be visible in your PayPal account within 3-5 business days.

We wish to apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We
invite you to reorder the products you wish to receive and would like
to extend a 25% discount on your next order. When you place your new
order, please insert the following discount code into the last page of
the shopping cart: XXXXXXXXXXXXX. Please note that this discount code
is exclusive to any other discount codes or promotions from ZAGG Inc, and
is valid for use until February 1 of this year.

Again, we sincerely apologize for this error and delay and wish to thank you for your interest in our products."

This suggests to me a "price mistake." But the current price on the site--1 hour after I received the e-mail message--is still at $9.98. If not a price mistake, curious as to why they could not simply re-process my order in-house. ???

How "OFTEN"

does the screen protector have to be replaced?

In other words, does it ever wear out?

This completely depends on how you use it, as well as the type of screen protector you use. I've had a NuShield on a PDA that has lasted years with no scratches. I've got a Boxwave that shows slight wear after several months.

TONEEDO 01-19-2008 11:23 PM

My order got canceled. Not sure why.
