OZ Messenger on the Mogul!!!
 

So i got OZ to run on my Mogul using the OZ client in the file called "TMo-US-Ext_ROM.zip" under ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com.../Extended_Roms
But for some reason I cant get it to connect..i took a look in the registry under ""HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\OZ Communications\Configuration"" and there is some settings but im not sure what to change

This is a guess, but it t-mobile is GSM and Sprint is CDMA so OZ wouldnt know how to connect...

Again, I have no clue, first day having the titan coming from Tyntyn.

I don't believe it is possible to use OZ on the mogul. It's been ripped from the touch, yet everyone still gets the MD5 error. Check around the forum, there's already been discussion about this.

LoL at 'got OZ to run', wouldnt it have to work to be considered 'running'?

Everyone's gotten OZ to run. That's not news. Getting it to connect would be news.

from what I understand the MD5 error has to do with checksum. so if we can edit it, it shud be able to connect. I dont know how to edit anything so I wudnt know how to do this.

Ok, there are way too many threads on this issue. As soon as we get it to work, I'm sure a moderator will make a sticky post with instructions

I am using the same app on my touch Pro from Sprint and I get the exact same error message.

I guess this could point to two things.

1. The app is incorrectly installed on my phone (for the most part everything on it is still default)

2. It is not configured properly.

I am going to try the Sprint support route to see if they are any help. Although, I have to admit that I doubt they will be. From there, I guess my only option would be to contact the Oz devs directly.

Either way, I will make it a point to make a backup of my phone both before and immediately after it is "fixed". That way we should be able to see the delta and that might help you guys out.

If anyone has any ideas as to why I might be getting this error on the touch pro, please let me know.
