Is it possible to store/use ringtones on my storage card?
I made a whole bunch of ringtones and they're taking up space on my device that I would prefer to save for other uses. So I'm wondering if it's possible to have a ringtone folder on my storage card instead of on device memory. Any input guys? TIA!

Yes, I've heard different takes on this, but what I do is put my ringtones in a folder called My Ringtones on the Storage Card, and they all show up on the Settings tabs.

Nice, thanks leetsauce! I'll give that a try right now!

So, it worked! The only one thing I noticed, when using the HTC Audio Player to edit/save mp3s as ringtones, when prompted to save the ringtone to the ringtone folder, it saves it on device memory. Simple fix though, all I have to do is move is to the My Ringtones folder on my storage card. Thanks alot leetsauce!

Thank you very much for this tip, i was eating up valuable onboard storage.
In case anyone didn't know, audacity is a great mp3 editing / ringtone creation program. |
i just keep my ringtones on the storage card in the root directory and it picks them up as ringtones.
