Bluetooth 'drops' from Alltel 6800
I know there are tons of threads about the Titan/Mogul bluetooth issue... mainly all on the Sprint phones beacause I assume I just simply doesn't work... My issue is slightly different.
I can get my Jabra BT125 (cheap BT) to connect... And get it working (make/recieve calls with good sound quality both ways)... But, after awhile... the damn thing just drops the bluetooth signal or something from the Titan... Now I know its the phone... But I've tried the only thing I can think of... setting the power settings to never turn the phone off. Now by doing this, my battery life has gone down 1,000% and i'm hitting buttons on the touchscreen in my pocket. So... anyone with an Alltel have fully functional BT or... anyone have any ideas? Annoying problem on a $500 phone. |
is it droping from the phone or is the phone locking up and staying black after standby?

mainly droppin from the phone... although... now that you have mentioned it... it has completely locked up either with the screen on or off with the bluetooth on...
how jacked up is the alltel/titan bluetooth??? i thought it worked on alltel! |
I have the Alltel 6800 w/ Jabra BT8010 stereo headset and it works great. My BT worked good before but I had to manually establish handsfree/stereo profiles each time. Now I am also running Custel's V1.1 custom Rom which improved BT capability greatly and every time I turn on BT & my device, they automatically connect and functions flawelessly

The locking of the phone with the stock Alltel rom is a known issue here, Im trying to work with alltel to get this patched some way.. From alltel not just a custom rom..
