I recently installed dcd's custom rom, and like it a lot, but there's so mething i cant figure out.

With sprints 2.17 rom there was a today screen voicemail plugin that told you how many voicemails you had, and when you clicked it, it dialed voicemail for you. I cant find this on dcd's rom, does anyone know where i could get it, or something similar?

Check start -> settings -> today -> items then look for Voicemail. Chances are its there, just not selected.

nah, it wasn't on the ROM I loaded, for some reason it's never on any custom ROM or kitchen I try :)
I didn't know if there's a cab floating around for it that I cannot find or if nobody has bothered to do something like that

Me too!

I had it at one point (I know it was on the stock VZ rom), and I'm not certain at which point I lost it...after moving off of VZ, or somewhere on the trek that led me to No2Chem 5060 cooked with the Kitchen.

It sure would be cool to get this back....I spend 30 minutes today trying to get rid of my yellow blinking LED...no emails or texts unread...soft reset blah blah blah...then figured out I had a voicemail....

I'm now using DCD 3.0.4 rom from xda developers. I'm having a similar problem. The voicemail today icon doesn't change when I have voicemails. I even flashed to DCD's cooked 3.0.4 ROM for VZW which doesn't have this today add-in and I'm still not getting any voicemail indicator. Does the stock VZW ROM show a voicemail indicator in the title bar, or just via the today screen plug-in?

I have missed 13 voicemails over the past 3 days as I'm not getting any notifications and its really quite annoying.

If someone knows of a ROM or add-in that actually works for VM notifications, can they please speak up?

I also caught wind that the problem might be with VZW themselves - is it worth calling them about it?
