Internet Sharing & Random Disconnects
 

I'm using Internet Sharing through Bluetooth PAN, and it works wondrously. However, I get random disconnects that seem to come without warning. There doesn't seem to be any set time, as I've had connections that varied from as long as over 15 minutes to as short as 4 min before getting disconnected. I've checked my registry, and all appears to be set. (I'm using dcd 1.6.7, so no modifications were necessary.)

The phone will indicate a Disconnected status when it gets disconnected. The connection will work fine once I click Connect and initiate Network Access from the PC.

Anybody else sharing these problems? What gives?

have you tried initiating the data connection by opening IE, then close IE, then start up ICS?

it works fine for me and my macbook.

had anybody made any head way on this issue I have it happening to me all the time im connecting through USB to my vzw 6800 running DCD 2.0x kitchen. Any way hoping somebody figured something out on this issue..

Have the same problem, started using wmwifirouter which also uses ICS but have not noticed any random disconnects since.

BUMP!!!!!!!!

My touch seems to disconnect about 10 times an hour, and it will say disconnected.
After I reset it, it will work fine for a few minutes, and will start the same ridiculous cycle. I hate this. Ive tried rebooting my laptop, so the same issue.

Id like a fix! Im running stock 2.13.00 radio and PRL 60610.

I checked HTC's website for a possible rom update that i may be behind on, because i traded mogul for a touch, so i dont know what are the most recent roms/radios,

but for some reason, there is support for the sprint mogul, and 6700, but not the touch.
