I have my MSL, where to put?

I have my numbers (MSL) already but I have no idea how to invoke it on my Mogul.

In a past experience:
Usually once you press some numbers on a dumb phone, a login area comes up, where you then enter the MSL.

I'm using the dialer & I'm not getting anywhere or to any login screen.:(

Like every other command.. ##MSL#

Doesn't really do anything on the Mogul except let you change your MDM and MSID... I wouldn't advise changing those however...lol

There might be other uses for it however...I just got my Mogul so still learning...

This thread link will give you some info as to a couple of simple NAM mods once you are in EPST.

##778# is a common access code.

Hmm your "Unlock Code" is different than the MSL? Not that I was going to edit anything...just wanted to poke around.

MSL - Master Subsidary Lock - Your Carrier Locked Handset unlock code

you use your MSL to unlock the NAM via EPST to make modifications.

A couple of interesting tweaks include ACCOLC and SCI, they are mentioned in my thread i link to in the previous post.

Ahh ok what am I missing? Nothing pops up.

I press the phone button
Next I push pound, pound, 778, pound *wait.......nothing happens* or pound, 778, pound, pound. *wait..........nothing happens*

I even hit the call button to ring those numbers & it doesn't get me anywhere.

What am I doing wrong? Do I literally press "##778#" or "#778##"? Do I hiit the call button and dial them? This was so much easier on a dumbphone.

Dumb this down in detail for me please, step by step.

If for some reason you cannot get in try this:

on your PPC open "File Explorer" goto: /windows/epst.exe

it will have (what appears to me) a little wrench icon.

Click it

You will see a screen which says "View, Edit, or cancel"

Choose "Edit" and it will ask for your MSL. Enter your MSL.

You should then be in the phone NAM itself.
