Bluetooth indicator?

I have done searches on "bluetooth and indicator" and "bluetooth and icon" with no luck. I am looking for two things:

1. An indicator on my screen that shows that Bluetooth is turned on. Something like the blue oval with the white Bluetooth symbol in it. Then, when a device, like a headset, is connected, the symbols inside the oval would turn red. My old Samsung a920 had this but can't find something like it for the 6800.

2. I'd like to set an icon on my Today screen that would toggle Bluetooth on and off without having to go into comm manager. I am using Spb Pocket Plus 4, if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance!

Here is one that resides in the tray and has different color status icons
btIO

There are three icons:

Green BT-Icon = Bluetooth is enabled and in discoverable mode
White BT-Icon = Bluetooth is enabled and in connectable (invisible) mode
Red BT-Icon = Bluetooth is disabled

You can switch between connectable and disabled by simply pressing the icon in the tray bar.
When you tap'n'hold the icon a menu apears that lets you set the mode you like, and lets you exit the program.

That definitely takes care of the most annoying part, having to go into comm manager. Thank!

I had always thought this was annoying, tried the BTio icon thing but ended up using phone weaver so i have profiles and it has a little bluetooth icon that lights up when on too.

I am definitely digging btIO for ease of turning Bluetooth on and off, but I will also check out Phone Weaver, thanks friguy.

Is there a way to add btIO to the today home plugin? I dont like how it creates a new line just for one icon.
