I am fairly new to all this stuff. I have been reading posts and still a little scared about doing some reg edits. If i screw up, will my phone become a expensive paper weight or is there a way to save it? Please try not to laugh 2 hard at me.:dontknow:

If you screw up, just reflash your rom. Have fun, there is a wealth of information on these forums and over at xda. Dont be afraid! experiment away!

hard reset will set ur phone to OEM defaults. So if u mess up just do a hard reset.

Just make a backup with regedit.. If you screw it up, restore it.

If you screw up so bad it wont restart.. Well then you know the other option.

Backups are the way to go SPB Backup and Sprite Backup are full backup programs (will restore your PPC to exactly as it was before), will restore everything. Also PPCPIMBackup is a great program for backing up your PIM.
So before doing something that you are not sure of always I always do a backup.

As I wrote that I was restoring a back up. And now it freeze on the load screen. Doh!
