Please Help!!

I installed the SMS Threaded program but didnt like it, so I uninstalled it and my left softkey still says SMS. But when I click it a message says not a trusted certificate. When I go to my message choices there is no option for texts. Just email and mms. Did I loose all my texts? I just want to go back to the way text messaging was before I installed this. Please help I cant figure this out.
