Backlight on during notification or incoming message?
 

XV6800 on Verizon, and battery life is pretty decent, although as a personal-use-only phone I probably average 3-4 phone calls during the day at work on it.

When on vibrate, I have no way to tell between an incoming call, message or email until I look at the display. Unfortunately, the screen/backlight only lights up during an incoming call. Is there a way to get it to come on for incoming email and text messages as well?

It is entirely possible that my battery life will tank after doing this and I will change it back. Don't know until I try.
