I used to be able to do that with my Motorola phone and headset, but the M500 didn't work well with my PPC-6700 or 6800. I currently use a Plantronics 510, which works very well, but it has a proprietary connector and only pairs with two devices. I'm about to spring for a Z9 myself and being able to charge it along with my phone would be the icing on the cake. :)

I just ordered a Z9 and bought this accessory on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting

I'm hopeful it will allow me to charge the 6800 and Z9 using the USB cable that came with each one. I don't really care if I charge them at the SAME time or not, I just want to charge them without having to buy a DC charger for each. For only $6.00 including shipping I figure it's worth a try.

According to the specification section of the User's Guide from the Blueant website, the Z9 has "Mini USB for Charging battery or F/W upgrade". It doesn't say that it's "standard" mini USB though.

I just ordered a Z9 from eBay too, and since no one has confirmed whether the Z9's connector is standard or not, I think I'll order one those dual USB car chargers too.

the Z9 is NOT a standard mini USB.

i have an H700, it's not revolutionary by any means, but it works fairly well. what's great is i can use the same charger for my phone and headset.
