How long does it take to write a Superfine Pic to your card?
 

It takes my phone about 2 minutes to write a super fine picture...say 300k file... to the storage card.

is this normal?

Yeah happens to me, no matter what ROM or memory card I use.
I just tell it to do it to the main memory, and then when I'm done I just copy and paste it to my memory card.

2 minutes seem excessive. There could be different reasons. You phone/card could be broken or you have a low-class card so the transfer speeds are very slow. I suggest you try saving to the phone first and later transfer it to the card when you have time. Saving to the phone should be a lot faster.

wow, i always use superfine 2mp and save to my card... a 600k ( bright outside light ) photo takes MAYBE 1 or 2 seconds.

Mine wrote a 6 meg movie to my 4 gig card in seconds today

same thing happens to me with my sandisk 4gb...

but it works fine when wiritng to main memory or another card ive used...

it took my phone about 15sec to transfer a 6mb file from my computer to my sd card dragging and dropping. It took the same time to transfer the same file to the phone.
