Sprint renames .gif to .jpg
 

IVe noticed that with sprint that whenever someone sends me those msg's that have the funny .gif photos that sprint renames it to a .jpg so it doesnt animate. And when i goto save to phone i cant change the extension. Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else noticed this? This happened with my mogul and my old sanyo M1 phone.

unfortunatly its network related. If you go online to your pic mail accounts you can see the motion in the .gif I don't know why but sprint has just never done .gif's

and if thats true, once that happens then you cant convert back. If you do, your just waisting your time. it wont animate.

For a program that allows to change extensions. Total Commander
