Skinning the Builtin Keyboard?

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find some cabs to overwrite the theme for the builtin keyboard... I've tried the HTC keyboard, the PocketCM Keyboard, and Happy Tapping Keyboard and none of them work past the first soft reset. I remember on the Apache Kitchens there were options to change the builtin keyboard...

Anyone know where I could find a guide or some cabs? Thanks

Not sure what you mean but you might want to take a look at Resco Keyboard Pro.

i'm referring to the white on screen keyboard that pops up when you get to a text field. Some times I simply DO NOT want to open the phone keyboard, so i open the OSK.

I have not seen anyone skin that one but the PCM keyboard is pretty sweet

I'd be happy with just a color flip. I like the default keyboard too, the white just does not match with my color scheme.

If you try the PCM keyboard there is a black key with white letter layout looks pretty cool IMO

Yea... PCM Keyboard doesnt work with mine. All I want is something to skin the BUILTIN KEYBOARD...

I think this is what you have in mind but I have not found any that will work on WM6. I know there is one since it was loaded on DCD's custom rom.

I like the look of PCM but its annoyingly slow at times.
