post the fix to this problem

there is no fix afaik. so if there was, it would be something similar to hell freezing over for me.

I was getting "The content cannot be displayed" or something around those lines.

Any ideas?

I loved Palm Threaded SMS but as soon as I synced my phone and realized it didn't work with Jeyo Mobile Extender for Outlook...I became extremely dispapointed.

palm threaded sms is great, if you can get it to work right. I never could (multiple sends, weird behavior such as opening every 10 minutes on its own), so i uninstalled.

does anyone know of anything besides pocketcm and palm threaded sms? I dont even care if it's threaded or not, i just want something other than the stock sms app.

I text A LOT and IMO the OEM SMS program is just fine with me. I don't even think I would bother with anything else; then again, I shouldn't be so naive and give something new a try!

the codyppc threaded sms for wm6 works great for me, no weird sounds or double messages. The pocket cm sms is slow. For those who don't know what 'threaded' means, it allows you to see both sides of the conversation kind of like an IM program does.

Google the cody sms because it cannot be linked on this site due to copyright issues

from what i read (still testing this myself) the duplicate sending occurs when you close (not minimize or "end (red hangup button) the palm sms app quickly after sending a text. This might hold some merit b/c i think i have had the problem when sending sms and i have no service (similar idea).

i have used the palm sms app on my 700wx, 6700, and now my 6800 with no problems yet
