best way to speed up the xv6800...?
 

I've really been doing my best to get fully acclimated to this device - coming from years w a palm - and I am getting there... thanks to a lot of what I have been reading here.

I may even attempt a rom change in the near future...

but until then - what's the best way to increase the speed of this device?

There used to be overclocking type software for the palm - that was pretty easy to use.. but I haven't found anything like that yet on this phone.

Any suggestions?

First thing is to keep your today screen clean and simple. I knw that's not fun but it makes the biggest difference in perfrmance for me.
next make sure you're running the most recent rom. i'm not sure if 2.17 was released by vzw yet.
third, be sure to keep simultaniously running apps at minimum- this will improve memory management.

and lastly install apps n the device, not the storage card. we have so much rom n his device. use it.
