as noted above either disable time sync from the network, or (better solution) download QuickMenu and install it, go to it's settings, on the first tab for settings scroll all the way down (use a stylus) select auto close activestink, select ok, ejoy your device again, with more battery...

Yea! I disabled the time sync and now eeez feex! I'm Much happier now ... I guess it's just the little things, huh?
Thanks again! |
Worked like a charm for me.

How do u get to the screen to disable time settings? Where is that setting in the phone? I feel like this is a dumb question, but I can't find it anywhere.

Ummm... I was just checking the specks on the rotary for the gurter im retarded.
I found it. Brownie points to anyone who identifies the above quote, don't google it, just rack your memory |

1. Download and install MemMaid 2. Go to "notifications" tab 3. Look in the lower section and there are 3 "repllog" files (activesync) 4. One of them will say "AppRunAfterTimeChange" when highlighted 5. Delete that one (the option at the lower right side will restore it anytime you want) DONE, Activesync won't autostart with network sync and your network sync is still active. |
Re: How to disable ActiveSync upon power-up?
just wanted to report that dotFRED's taskmanager will let you disable this just like memmaid.
