PocketCM VS Threaded SMS

I am going back and forth on these two.

I really like the interface for PocketCM - but feel that it's a bit quirky - and don't like that it doesn't totally replace the built in SMS

Threaded SMS - is more seamless - but back to the fact that I like the contact search and general feel of pocketCM.

I also wish I could tweak PocketCM more.

Anyone else have any direct thoughts on these two programs - or direct me to a better solution for Threaded SMS?

I think that by the time .16 comes out PocketCM will be the choice...I love the interface but it would also be nice if when I replied to a received message pocketsms opened up instead of the built in one.

Has anyone found that .16 has a memory leak. I notice if im chatting with someone for a long period of time that my memory goes waayyyy down. I like the interface of it but right now the Thread SMS is working for me because it has a icon and the memory does not leak if open for a while

I would love to see it actually become the default SMS option. I can't seem to even get it to intercept the messages before WM gets 'em. Any success?

Nope, but you can turn it off so that it doesn't even attempt it, because for me the contact list opens in the background when I get a text but doesn't fully take over (when I hit reply standard text message opens)

ok that shows you how to stop it from being your default. how did you get it to pop up automatically when you get a text. because for me if its not open i have to open it before i can respond

make sure you dont have any other programs installed that might get texts. I had to uninstall codyppc's threaded sms to get pocketcm to take over.

it doesnt really matter, windows mobile 6.1 will have native threaded sms support

Threaded SMS is way better IMO. I dont like having to go into my contacts to look at my text threads. With codyppc's I can just hit the text icon on htc home and it goes right to it! love it.
