AIM messenger for Mogul?

I had a treo 700wx for a few months and didn't bother to figure out how to get AIM on that phone...so how do I get it on my new Mogul without downloading it from sprint?
(obviously a new owner)

Download from the source site and copy the cab file over by connecting your phone to your computer and dragging it from your computer to your phone's explorer window.
Or you can visit the program's page and download it while on your phone...But I tend to find using my computer is faster...

If you're looking for aim clients, the only ones that come to mind are:
Slick, Palringo, and the official one which is available from aim.co.uk I think...

IM+ does them all.
The software is made by ShapeServices. Sorry I don't have a link... I am on via my phone.

not sure where to download the CAB file from exactly. i have AIM on my computer but the setup.exe file doesn't install a CAB file.
i tried downloading from aim.uk.co and that installed fine on my phone but the port isn't configured correctly and gave me an error msg. i guess it defaults to some UK setting?
slick didn't work either...another error msg when i tried to sign in on my phone.

help?

Maybe instead of making demands and asking people to find stuff for you, you could do a forum search (I suggest trying the software forum). Also google finds stuff.

there is another thread with the exact same question and the exact same info...

either way.. here is a link again..

ftp://ftp.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/s...cket%20AIM.cab

It is also available in OEM form..

I'm a newbie and copied the files to the phone. I see a file that says setup. I clicked on it and it displayed a bunch of words and numbers. Didn't install anything. I see you guys say install cab a lot how is that done?

look in GoodThings2Life's signature and click on the link, then click on Apps folder and click aim.cab
download it to your computer (save as) and then transfer it to your mobile (either cut/paste onto mini SD card or use activesync)
once it's on your phone just click on the cab file and select "install to device"
that's it...you now have AIM on your phone!

much thanks to GoodThings2Life! i also installed GoogleMaps and Task Manager...both are GREAT apps!
