6800 equalizer question....
Ok maybe a stupid question but is there any way to enable an equalizer function in windows media player on the 6800. If not is there a way to invoke an overall equalizer or at lease rudimentary treble and bass controls on the sound drivers for the device itself?

The HTC Equalizer 1.02 doesnt seem to like my 6800 so I downloaded this. Try it out:
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...nd-driver.html Make sure you soft reset after installing. Also, it shows up in the Settings and not Programs folder. Refer here for issues installing...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355913 To get it to work on mine, I installed the .cab and then make sure that theses registry settings are correct: HKLM\Drivers\Builtin\WaveDev\OldDriver\Wavedev.dll HKLM\Drivers\Builtin\WaveDev\DLL\WOWHD_ARM_WCE_PPC 2005_Driver.dll |
Thanks WOW SRS worked great on my mogul.....

Does it really enhance sound quality? I have a top of the line sound card (Creative XFi Xtreme Gamer) and it sounds like the helicopter is right behind me. And I only have 2 speakers in front.

Re: 6800 equalizer question....
for the speaker? As in, does it affect the sound of the internal speaker on the mogul? I *think* it does a bit...but its not noticable. I use it with a Sony HBH-DS220 A2DP bluetooth receiver with some Shure headphones and its "noticable"...as for "better", ummmm, that's kinda subjective. :D What I WAS trying to figure out though, is how on earth one can get the SRS settings to "stick". I noticed after reboot you have to reselect the dropdown boxes...
