Hot Mogul
 

Since upgrading my ROM to 2.17 my Mogul is running alot hotter and the battery doesn't last worth a crap. Anyone else having the same problems?

Is your WiFi switch on? When WiFi is on, it will severely affect battery life. Generally the Mogul only gets REAL warm when WiFi is on too...

No I don't use the Wifi that much due to the battery drain anyway. Since posting the message though it is not running as hot as before. Maybe it fixed itself..........hahaha.

The radio changed if you did the stock update and maybe its having a harder time getting a signal in your area. Low signals cause the phone to get warmer and the battery life to go down as it pumps out more power to compensate for the low signal.

It's also possible you a runaway process. Did you have this problem after a hard reset prior to installing anything?
