More Memory!!!!!
 

Hey well I was just wanting to find out how much memory everyone has on there mogul. I had to send mine to HTC in TX to get my screen replaced cause I accidently dropped it Well I was installing an app just a few minutes ago an I noticed that what I had before I sent it off has more than doubled! Or it seems that way. So if anyone can verify this it would be great. And if HTC really did boost my memory Props to them for actually caring about there customers.
My current Memory with following apps installed : 314592kb

HTC action
HTC home customizer
Task Manager
Slithers Cube Launcher
Iphone created and actually works
PPCGEEKS MMS
Weather Watcher
HTC ALBUM
PHM registry
Total Commander
Google Maps
Audio Manager
Adobe Flashlight
XML contacts Backup

All of these apps are saved to device the only thing on my sd card are :
pics, video, ringtones, and my backup of contacts.

Has it improved the speed of your phone?

Any way we can compare the revision you were sent to what the rest of us have?

What rom version were you running before and what is it now...

What type of memory are we talking about? It seems extremely unlikely that you now have 314 megs of free RAM.

Are you sure you're not just reading the available storage off your card?

How about some screen captures of your memory page.

Exactly what I want to see.

If that's the case I think I need to drop kick my phone lol

i did read somewhere that they were gonna up the ram on the mogul, but i didnt know if its a hardware thing or just create a whole nother line up of moguls

Thats a loosely based rumor which surfaced here and several other places after the 2.16 ROM was released and then pulled.

the rumor said something about no ExtROM, 2x the memory of the current Mogul. I asked about this, but nobody i deal with has been able to confirm or deny this.

You would think the next evolution would be a Kaiser....

BTW, anybody have a real life HTC contact or Rep? i have tried furiously to get ahold of a marketing/channel support rep and i keep getting referred back to the carriers.
