send contact info in a text??
 

for a pda that is touted as a "business tool" I find it hard to believe you cant send a contact to a colleague via text message. is there a reg edit or a "small prog" that will facilitate this? if anyone has info please let me know, doing a search on this subject turned up nothing here,or at the other common sites. thank you.

what I do is open the person in "contacts" then click edit, highlight the phone number, copy, open text and paste it in the field.

the only problem is that it can only copy/paste one field, so I copy/paste the phone number and manually type out the name and info.

Beam Contact usually works fine for me.

With Arcsoft MMS you can send a V card which I believe is what you are requesting

Other than sending a Vcard there isn't much. You can always check out TxtMan. That has an option of sending contacts and it works really well. I'm not sure how much I like the app, but it works well for that.

ok, arcsoft mms works for this, but what about some sort of shortcut from the contact menu.... ie instead of "beam contact" we could get "send vcard"?
