Low level back light mild flickering

Anyone else notice this or is my phone jacked?

When i have it set to the lowest brightness setting you can kinda see the phone flicker between just a tad bit brighter to low level. Its very mild and does not occur with any other brightness setting.

My Mogul does the same thing...

You will notice it more when you are in a low lighted room and it goes to the back light. It will flicker ever so slightly.

Yes constantly but randomly.

I have never noticed this, I'll keep an eye out for it though

I noticed this when using the scroll wheel, I thought the latest firmware was supposed to fix it. Have you put the latest firmware on?

johnnychimpo 12-03-2007 06:55 PM

Yes 2.17 firmware.

I posted something on this a while ago. Thought I was the only one!!!

The new ROM fixed the color tinting with the thumbwheel and dpad but not the flickering.

The flickering is VERY ANNOYING!

You really should install 2.17. 2.09 sucks, almost as bad as 2.16. 2.17 is wayyy more stable, at least for me.
