I've been trying for hours and i did searches. I hate hooking up my phone via usb and having active sync come on. Anyway I can do it through my wireless lan? I have resco explorer, can I use that in anyway. Thanks alot.

You have to switch the connection to work in your connections settings. I have several pcs on my network with shared folders that i grab files from.

In resco click on the icon that has the hand under it(network sharing icon) and map your drive, will usually ask you for a password, if you have none just hit enter, and then you will have access to you documents on your pc , just make sure that you have the sharing set up on your pc

Also make sure that you EVDO does not have a active connection or you will pull up lots and lots of computers.

How do you switch the connection ?

Mr Crunk 12-03-2007 12:24 PM

you have to enable "Wifi". That switches my connection from "EV-DO" to "Wifi" when I use the internet/network.

For whatever reason I can't access shares hosted from a W2K3 server but I can access shares on XP pro machines. It's not a permission issue either because I can't access the shares with the admin account and full permissions. Anyone else have experience accessing W2K3 shares on their mogul? I am set to "work" btw.

You could use the HTC Network Plugin. It adds a folder in your device root that shows the computers on the network. Its very nice because it is alot easier than Resco's network plugin.

I am also having Win2k3 access problems. I get the logon prompt but my credentials are not accepted. The same credentials setup in active directory and used on other workstations. Pretty annoying!

2ndly - You can use the duffy explorer from the latest apache kitchen and you dont have to change the WIFI from internet to work. I find that to be pretty annoying considering that you are browsing LAN.

Hope this helps!

ACK!....I have Wi Fi at work.....I have Wi Fi at home..........I can't seem to figure out how to set this 6700 to talk to my LANs. I look under SETTINGS...NETWORK CARDS.......I see my network there......I put in the WEP key.......I go to the NETWORK ADAPTERS tab, and there's a whole list there........from here I'm lost.

HALP?

Hi, I installed the HTC Network plug in but the Network folder is empty
If I try to specify path I get error. ( Yes I got sharing enabled on the other PC on folders I like to use) Do I have to add somewhere on the phone workgroup I like to use ?

Thanks

EDIT: GOT IT, I didn't do the network set up :)
