I don't give a damn

I don't care if it is bluetooth or wired...I want a headset for my Mogul that has great stereo sound AND the folks on the other end don't think I am talking through a Cambell soup can and string. My wife is asking me for Christmas ideas...nows my chance... but I have search and searched...just not sure. I am leaning towards the Sony DS970s but all the bitching about BT not sure that is the way to go. I don't care if they look like I am about to board an Apollo mission...I just want quality on both ends...your feedback is GREATLY appreciated!

Maybe pay phone can provide a best sound quality compare with all the cell phone?

Hmm, by Wednesday I'll let you know how good the Plantronics 855 is with it.

So far, no one complained about my voice on it & I've used the 665 & Jawbone, I like the 855 better. I hadn't asked anyone to repeat themselves yet, but this is with my M620, lord knows if I'll have this same bliss with a 2.17/1.40/6800. :/

BUT it doesn't handle wind blowing as well as the Jawbone, still no one can hear you on any headset if you got wind blowing at you. :p

I had the same issue wuth my mogul. I found good solution, exchanged it for Touch.

How is comfort for outdoor use? I'm intrigued by that model, but I need one that can specifically work well with sunglasses while running or cycling.

Any insights appreciated.

I have the nXzen Gennum nx6000 and love it. You can be standing in a room with loud music playing, and the person on the other end will hear you perfectly.

The nXzen Gennum nx6000 looks interesting but doesn't appear to be stereo???

I don't know about the performance differences, but the Plantronics 855 looks a whole lot less geeky than the 8010. I saw someone wearing the 8010 that other day and that headset looks seriously silly. Like someone forgot they were wearing a bt headset and put on another.

The nXgen has very good noise cancellation but is not stereo. The stereo attachment that comes with the 5500 is pure worthless crap. I hope that the change in ownership from Gennum to Cellpoint will improve their customer service too. My 5500 started turning off by itself and it took almost 3 months to get a RMA out of Gennum. They did send me a bunch of USB car addapters (???) as a consolation.
