How do I remove the microsd card?

Hi everyone.

I got a 2gb microsd card, and was goign to swap it out, when it seems as if the card is stuck in there. How do you guys take out the preinstalled sd card? It's a silly question, I know, but it doesn't seem to come out easily and I do not want to break it

:violent2:

Thanks in advance.

Push the card that is inside the phone already to come out... it is spring loaded.

I take the end of my fingernail and push it in slightly and when you let go it should snap out...

careful with the amount of force you use to push the card, a few times I've pushed the card too far and it became jammed - to the point where it would not come out! I had to jiggle the card with a pair of tweezers and the thing finally shot out like a cannon ball!!

Should the phone be off when you take it out? I noticed after a while that all the music in my Windows Media player library started getting their ID3 tags messed up, or totally erased. I started turning off the phone before ejecting the card, but the ID3 tag problem hasn't stopped, so I started using TCMP to play music, but it doesn't have any useful playlist functions.

I know that it can totally destroy USB cards if you don't do the "Safely Remove Hardware" thing. I learned that the hard way.

Im almost 100% that the card is hot swappable

Use this app to correct your id3 tags...

you can take the micro sd out when the phone is on, but don't take it out while you are saving info to it playing music or movies. could corrupt the data.
