HTC Mogul/PPC-6800/Titan messaging question
 

I have an HTC mogul. Its all good and what not. When I recieve texts...it shows the date stamp instead of the time. How do I change that? I cant fine an option for it anywhere :(

Are you on the stock ROM or a custom ROM?... not that I have a solution, other than maybe changing the ROM. Maybe using a different version of arcsoft software?

Stock ROM. Afraid to change the ROMs and make it slower...lol.
Arcsoft? Is that what the original SMS messaging is?
It's the text, not media messaging.

I have my old 6800 which is still in great condition, but while doing some experimenting with it, I messed up my radio settings. I can no longer receive a signal from the towers. So this will inhibit my ability to test things for you. I will, however, see if I can find anthing out in my settings that might help you. Are you running the Stock WM 6.1 (MR1) or WM 6.1 (MR2) ?
I have Stock (MR2) which I can flash to in order to do some testing, but I no longer have MR1 files.
The arcsoft is indeed for MMS, but it does both, and sometimes it will bring forth more settings. I have used various arcsoft setups and found quite a bit of differences.
I could be wrong in this, though, as it is still kind of an assumption, and you know what they say about ASS(of)U(&)ME(ing) things.

I'm not sure if it's MR1 or MR2? How do I tell?
And yea, I just want the time stamp on the text messages, not the media messages.
I would assume it's most likely MR1 if MR2 is a manual one?

I finally figured it out! haha.
It was the stupid timestamp hotfix issue.
Never noticed the date was wrong cause when I go into the specific chats/messages with a person it only showed the month and the day, not the year.
But when I went to the main SMS menu, and seen the list of my messages, it showed the date. I install the hotfix and...it works.

Have another question...LMAO.

When someone sends me a picture, the "From" number is "9000" instead of the recipients number. It did show their number, but now it don't. Not sure why...I didn't change anything. So when I get a picture, Idk who it's from...
Any ideas?
