Something is seriously wrong here MOGUL OOS
 

My mogul's talk button no longer functions so I went to a sprint store for an advance exchange and found out they were out of stock. Went to another store same story OOS. This continued for a good 3 more stores. I walked into a best buy to see if they had any in stock so i went in asking if I could purchase one and BB says they don't carry the phone anymore. Finally I use sprint's ONLINE exchange system telling me there is no inventory of the phone to send out an exchange. I called the reps a few times on the phone to have them transfer me to the exchange dept and there telling me I should wait a MONTH to see if they get new ones in stock or perhaps I would accept a Treo 700wx since its comparable ::rolleyes:: Its thanksgiving and all the stores are closed what could this mean?

If I were to guess, I would guess that they don't want any new Moguls to go out until they get the firmware challenges worked out. (imho)

I would suggest to them that the Touch is "more comparable".

Also, Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year; so they may have deployed every Mogul they had into the retail channel. "out of stock" is literally the most common phrase you will hear ove the next two weeks.

I use the wifi and keyboard actively so the touch is not comparable at all.

Ummm... that it's Thanksgiving and all the stores are closed?

you know im a mogul user and im so sick of these touch users trying to convert people to their phones please stop. i love wifi in coffee shops and flash when i take a picture and a keyboard. sorry if im off topic

Yeah, I went to a store yesterday (Wednesday) with issues on my Mogul. They said they would have to order one, but when they couldnt place an order because there were none, they went to the back, grabbed store stock, and gave it to me. The weird part was that I got down the road on my way to work and realized right off the bat that the D-pad on the new one didnt work (no it wasn't the 2.16 rom)... I soft-reset and it still didnt work (even had a strange feel to it) so I took that one in. The employees were in disbelief and thought I was just messing with settings. Thankfully they replaced it in store as well, as they were going to try to put me in a Treo 700wx since they couldn't order any. I don't see how the 700wx is considered comparable when the OS is newer (not that it makes a huge difference to most people).

Well I ended up losing my Mogul omw to thanksgiving dinner and its been a total mess. Worst part is the people are Asurion are trying to sway me to a touch/treo 700wx because they too are out of stock utterly amazed here.

maybe they're starting to take out the really bad ones in the swap pool and they're running low due to the number of units that are bad...
