"Text Message Delivered" Like Sidekick but for Titan(WM6)

i used to have a sidekick 3 (i know i know, it sucked and i just got it cause kids at school thought it was cool haha) but one thing i loved about it was it told me that the TEXT WAS DELIVERED to who i sent it to.

I disabled the text sent too cause it was annoying lol

But can i make it tell me that the text was DELIVERED?
Please help!

UPDATE

YES YES YES I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!

1) Go to Messages Main Menu
2) Click Menu-> bottom right corner
3) click Options
4) Select Text Messages and click on it from the menu
5) Check the "Request Delivery Notifications" box
6) Your all set

THANKS SO MUCH AND I HOPE THIS HELPS PEOPLE TOO=D>

The sms sent notice that you disabled does exactly what you just asked for. It goes away on its own after a couple seconds without dismissing it. It just pops up says message sent and then goes away. Just re-enable that notification

I think what he means is that on some other carriers, you can actually tell if the person who you sent the text to got the message or not

I think it is a matter of Verbage... I believe the other carrier just chose to tell you that it was delivered, not sent, but they are probably referring to the same action. If you send it, it is considered delivered, if the recipient has actually received it or not..

no a DELIVERED message, not a SENT one.

As in, like a notification that it was received on the other phone? Hmm, i dunno about that one. Althoughhhh, you can do read reciepts with the email, but most email clients are compatible with send receipts, i dont think symbian text messagers are.

Sorry I didnt understand your question! hope you find the solution, that might be a helpful hack!

I know that it can be done. My Sidekick used to do it and it was very useful to make sure someone got an important message i sent. thanks

On Verizon with my 6700 running wm6 ROM from here go into the messaging, text messages, then menu, tools, options, select text messages and there is a check box for it.

You can put on there to request SMS receipt with the Palm software, not sure about stock, but I thought it was an option.
