I can get the cube to pop up in the contacts section, but i can't get it to spin??

i got this installed on my wing and 3 sides of the cube are there but i don't have the home screen and the weather portion wont work it says its missing the application....?? anyone know why this would be happening???

oh ya im just noticing that now too..i only have three sides of the cube?

EDIT: ahh are there ONLY 3 sides of the cube...making sense now

agreed but the home page with the time and weather and all that i do not have....

Yep, I only got three sides, also. It should be call the "Pyramid" instead of the "Cube." :)

Cube Settings: Launcher
 

First, when I open Cube Settings, I get an error message that reads: "Cannot read existing settings - is HTC TouchFLO installed?" I am not sure what this is, but the Cube seems to work for me in regards to the touch/flick to bring it up and change sides/pages. I press OK and it goes away.

Second, the first tab is "Launcher." Under App Launcher, everything is blank (as in nothing is filled in for App, Params, and Icons). Should there be anything filled in?


Also, what is "Params" anyway?

added a video of slither flash cube in the 1st post, we were working on it all this time, I created the 4th screen app and the SMS screen, check the video out.

ok-- maybe its something I did by mistake when doing a registry edit or something-- but the font on one side of my cube has just mysteriously changed to something else... has this happened to anyone else?

This works on my Mogul flashed with WM5. There is one problem, the contacts side of the cube does not work. It will rotate just fine to that side but it will never "fill in" the individual contact slots or allow any button along the bottom to be pushed.

Anyone else experience this?

i want this version for my sprint mogul...that is an awesome video...i have the other one with the 3 sided cube...sms is what has got my attention on that new version...awesome...is the sprint mogul version ready...itchn'...

Ive been trying to get the cube to work but not getting how to set it up. If someone can write a detailed step that i can by that would be great. I currently have the sprint mogul if that helps. Thanks

in the original post i installed the cube.zip and it does the samething that i had...the three sided cube...how can i get the one on the video...

since i have the sprint mogul i have to click on the link at the very top that directs me to the beta version...will that one do all of the followin on the video example...

anyone know when is slither going to release his final cube? saw his video and thats how i want to close programs and still have the cube up.

Attempting to uninstall causes a lockup for me. ROM 2.17, Radio 1.47.01.

Fix: had to remove the two shortcuts from the Windows/Startup folder, reset, then remove.

im having the same problem as a few other people, when i go to run cube settings i get the error cannot read existing settings - is ftouchflo installed? Does anyone know where the settings file is supposed to be or where this program is looking for it?

anyone know how to continue to use the smartscrolling in SPB PP in PIE with this cube installed? I added iexplore.exe to the exclude list in the config file, but then I still can't use the smartscrolling feature of SPB PP.

I downloaded, installed, and reset the phone, everything worked fine for me.

Fooled around with this for a few hours and uninstalled. Couldn't get the today screen to change. I only got the 5 today icons and the cube to work.

I am really good with computers but have little experience with these things so there is no way that I'll get it to work.:(

ight if i install this on my phone, can i change the today screen to a different background and will i be able to add themes and or change the icons in the today screen

exclude the whole SPB pocket plus application and you should be fine.

have you tried that successfully? If so, what do I put in the config file? I can't find an .exe for pocket plus.

how do you set the picture app to work off the cube's "photo"?

hey guys. new to the site but will remain loyal member.

i installed everything i needed to.. but i cant get:

A. HTC HOME WEATHER to work
B. CANT SEEM TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK THE CUBE.... it has 'CUBE settings' in my program list... but i dont know how to get the cube to show up , or how to work it!!!!!!!!!!

am i doing something wrong? what do i do?

I FIGURED IT OUT... i swiped my finger applying a little bit of pressure at top of screen from top right to left... and to close it from top middle down

BUT ------> HOW DO YOU GET THE WEATHER TO WORK? i have the unlimited data plan, and the weather wont sync?

No sound with the cube?
 

I really love this program! I had tried others at the XDA site, but all I got was a black screen, this one works great! The only complaint I have, and it is minor, is that I no longer have the "click" sound when pressing a hardware button or touching the screen. Is this something that is disabled by the cube or is there a way I can get these sounds back? I really like to be able to have an audible response when I press a button or touch the screen.

In the video the guy is using a 4 sided cube. how can i get this 4 sided cube because the download only is 3 sides? Also what is the app for the contacts that he is using.

PPC6800SP with Sprint-
I've installed the cube, I finally got it to open, but everytime I go to the cube settings, I get the "cannot read existing settings, do you have htc touch flo installed" message. Then when I try to add an app for instance and save the settings, I get a big long error message that starts out with "could not save weather settings, is HTC Homeplug installed?" then another error message after that saying it can't save the app add I just did, then finally a message that says "settings saved- reset to activate changes.
I"m running the 2.17.651.0 ROM from HTC, and i've never had the HTC Homeplug working. Its in the Today settings in Items, but when I go to options there, I get 2 blank pages for Items and Appearance, defaulting to the Items tab and I can't change tabs in it or do anything. If I go ahead and enable the plugin anyways, it will have the Power, Screen rotation, Comm manager and Backlight icons in it, but thats it. Is there a cab somewhere I can get to install the HTC Homeplug again maybe? or is it just something in the new ROM that isnt supposed to be there? Any help would be appreciated.
this cube is way bitchin, and with a little practice on my part using it should really be a cool addition to the Mogul. Congrats on the job you all did with it.

quick question and it was probably already covered in here but how can i map it to button #5? i hate to scratch my screen because of this coooolll app and i dont use the voice dial crap

Find the location of the cube files and create a shorcut to one of the sides ans place it in your /Start Menu/Programs/ and then u will see it in the button assignments.

i do not understand there is TFloCube, Touch Flo and Touch Settings.. only touch setting show up under the list of things i can map tp a button..
