Not Your Ordinary Ringtone Question

I have been trying to figure out a way to have my ringtone that is assigned to a contact to work when that person sends a text also instead of a basic ringtone for every text received. Basically does anyone know any program that will make it work.

No way you can do it with the default PIM. Also something you might want to consider, if you use it as a tone then it is probably 10-30 seconds long. If you set it as a notification, it will play through the entire thing before stopping. Especially bothersome if you get a lot of text. I get a few hundred a day, if a tone is 10 seconds, I will be quite tired of hearing it VERY soon. Another thing is, how would you know if it was a call? I think call are more important, I don't want to jump up and grab my phone every time I get a text thinking it is a call.

I know on the Treo there was a program for doing this, but I think it allowed you to set custom tones for calling and text and email from a specified person and allow each tone to be different. That might be cool, more work than I want though. I get pissed every time I reset and have to put custom ringers on 10 or so people.
