"no unlocked storage card detected" on Colonel's Oct21 rom
 

I received this error message after flashing Colonel's Oct21 custom rom. I tried to setup my exchange mail server and everything went smoothly until I tried to select using storage card to off load attachments in the email storage option tab. The error message reads: "No unlocked storage card detected. Make sure an unlocked storage card is inserted and try again."

The problem is my card was never locked or encrypted. I can still access the files and tool around inside the storage card using any file explorer. Only outlook thinks the card is locked. There is definintely enough storage space on the 2gb card.

I've never had this problem before flashing. Any clues?

The problem is related to the /FilterFS directory you see on your phone. Outlook is using that directory rather than /Storage Card. To fix it, delete the following registry key. Once you reboot, the problem will be gone.

HKLM\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\FilterFSD

That registry hack did help but it now outlook can only detect the ext rom. I still can't get my SD card as an option.
