GPS on the Mogul?

Hubby just called and said he'd gotten an e-mail from Sprint to take his Mogul into a store to have the GPS enabled. Anyone else gotten this email? I haven't seen it yet so don't know for sure what it's about. And I haven't gotten one either.

LMAO! It's like a bad train wreck... you know you shouldn't look, but you can't help yourself from watching.

Worst thing is I have to watch

So AAngel3, can we get a copy/paste of the e-mail, some kind of confirmation, where the e-mail came from?

I mean, no offense, but it sounds weird only 1 person has received this message out of all the Mogul users.

What i think she meant to say:

Actually I saw a thread about the same message awhile ago, my interpretation was that it was a kind of generic message for you to come in and "upgrade" to a TELNAV compatable phone.

The message was along the lines of.... Stop in your local Sprint store and have your phone upgraded to take advantage of GPS services. Like maybe they had the service already on their account

I'll post the thread if I see it, it was over on sprintmogu.net The people got all excited and even thought they were going to swap out the actual chip in the store. LOL

Yeah that's why I think we'd like to see at least a copy/paste of the e-mail body. The sooner we track the truth down, the sooner I get to close this thread.

I swear all these GPS threads are driving me nuts!

Here's a link to that other email thread, the site over there loads kinda slow sometimes.

You need to put a GPS word filter in the thread titles :)

Here's another new GPS thread with an email reply from the Sprint Technical Department that makes a lot of simple sense.
