they're both different sizes...

Well ive been running the 216+TouchBT.rar version since it was posted, only had 1 D-pad lockup, soon as i turned BT off the D-pad started working again. Never had any other incidents, threw all my programs at it; overall, for not being a barebones ROM (DCD's superfast ROM), its running great! No freezes, no BT sync issues, except I still cant hear a damn thing (low volume) but thats a different issue I guess.

Anybody add the volume hax to this version? make a difference? I've tried the hax with other versions, minimal change on my end.
Again, thank you sfaure03.

Unfortunately for me i'm having the D-Pad issue consistently and can recreate the issue almost every single time and i've flashed both roms on here. oh well :(

I think you have that backwards. I flashed Rel2 last night and it has the 1.47 radio...and my phone was locked up (BSOD) this morning.

The HACK is also more properly implemented in the REL2.

Some are having issues with the REL2 and the radio, I do not. However you can/could just flash the 1.40 radio back to the phone if you like.

I will post some updates probably today/tomorrow, but i'm busy and my build env is all munked up playing with some other idears.

I'm not intending this to be a release rom guys. Its just a snapshot of my work, more intended for other developers and testing, not for hardcore use. Hold on a little while, the other developers will likely be implementing better fixes than this is shortly.

My hat is off to you sfaure03. I am running your release2 with the 1.40 radio and my phone and dpad have been running for nearly 24 hours off of the charger with no issues. When I activate my Jawbone the phone wakes up as it should and I get the voice prompt. I have seen no significant battery drain.

I sincerely appreciate your work and efforts. It is people like you that keep me involved here as a part of this community. You are a true PPCGeek.

Don't see a download for this on HTC's site. This must be Qwest's first ROM. Would be interesting to dump it and look at the differences.

sfaure03 11-10-2007 10:46 AM

FOR SURE on the dump of that 2.13 ROM Information/data is power. Please post the nbh file as soon as possible.

bunvilla 11-10-2007 11:05 AM

ok fellas im gonna need a lil help with a walk thru of doing that/ i didnt get a disc with the rom version on it/ i did with my 6700 / i tried to unlock it and load another rom version on my phone / using the titan unlocker/ but i wasnt successful/ that might have been a good thing because other wise i wouldnt have the 2.13 version anymore / i did a hard reset and all the qwest goodies and settings go right in place, so i know that what u guys want is still in my phone/ i guess i need to make a image (for the lack of a better word) of my rom and get that to u guys/

so basically ill shut up and if u care to give me a step by step lesson on how to get a copy of the nbh (file u need) ill do it right now while i have the time/ i have a rapishare membership so i could up load it to u right away
