Serial Cable for HTC Mogul PPC
 

I need to connect a serial device to my HTC Mogul. Is there any way to do it WITHOUT using Bluetooth? I was hoping to find some kind of converter cord but haven't found anything yet.

In short, no. The Mogul has a USB adapter, but it is not a host adapter. For this reason, you'd be unable to connect say, a USB-to-RS232 cable, since the cable itself requires a host adapter. (Something your PC has, for instance.) Therefore, the Mogul is only a device, and not a USB host. It also doesn't have any hardware or software to function as a USB root hub, which is also required to operate in host mode.

is there any way to some how make a connection work? I need a serial connection to run my engine management software in my car....
